1 pound Fettuccine

1 pound peeled, deveined Shrimp

6 Garlic Cloves

2 to 3 cups Broccoli Florets

2/3 cup White Wine

2 cup Heavy Cream

2 tbsp finely chopped Fresh Parsley

½ tsp freshly Ground Black Pepper

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt

Method:

In order to prepare Creamy Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine, you will first need to fill a large 8 quart stock pot at least half full with water and 1 tbsp salt. When this mixture boils, then blanch the broccoli in it for 1 minute. After this remove it and drain under cold water and set aside.

Next step is to cool the pasta in a large pot of boiling water as per the instructions on the package. Then, drain and toss with a little olive oil to keep from sticking. Once, this is done, then combine the cream, garlic, wine and black pepper in a large skillet when the pasta is cooking. Then, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Now, add the shrimp and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes and toss in the broccoli and parsley. After this mix in it the fettucini and add salt according to taste. Your Creamy Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine dish is now ready to serve.
