Seared Encrusted Tuna Steak Salad Recipe

steak Try out the delicious Seared Encrusted Tuna Steak Salad this weekend and you will realize that seafood can be so tempting. This easy to make salad can be made in minutes without many ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tuna steak (8-10 oz each)
  • Sun-dried tomato
  • 1 small dried Red chili
  • 1 tbsn Coriander seed
  • 1 cup Basil, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Cilantro, finely chopped
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 Clove garlic
  • Basil
  • Olives
  • Lemon juice 
  • Salad greens
  • Salt 

Method:

The first step to make Seared Encrusted Tuna Steak Salad is to mix the chili with the coriander in a martar and pestle. Then, add basil, garlic, lemon juice and cilantro according to taste and mix it all well and season.

Next step is to lay out tuna steaks on a tray and season its both sides with the herb mixture. Now take a pan and heat it and spread a little olive oil. After this, put in it the seasoned tuna and sear the tuna to make it more easy to fry. Fry on each side for about 45 to 60 seconds.

Lastly, rip the steaks in half and serve them on salad greens with some sun dried tomatoes, basil and olives.
