Barbecue Shoulder Steak Skillet

3-4 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon seasoning salt

1/ 2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

5-6 tablespoons lemon juice

6 tablespoons tomato ketchup

2-3 tablespoons brown sugar

1/ 2 sugar mustard powder

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic

2 medium sized onion, chopped

2 boneless beef shoulder chuck steaks

1 1/ 2 cup water

1 1/ 2 cup tomato sauce

Method

First take a large skillet or electric frying pan and heat oil in it over medium heat.

Combine water with tomato sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce until combined properly, then set aside.

Now, season both the chuck steak with salt and pepper.

Then, brown both the sides of the steaks in hot oil and remove in a plate.

Now, add onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Then, add garlic and crushed chili flakes and cook while stirring for 1-2 minutes.

Now, pour the prepared sauce over the meat and cover and then heat on sim flame for 1- 1/ 2 hours or until the meat is tender.

Serve hot with salt and pepper seasoning if required.
