Chipotle Dry Rub Shrimp Recipe For all you shrimp eaters, here comes a new delicious recipe to make Chipotle Dry Rub Shrimp.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Shrimp (12-15 pieces)
  • 1 cup fresh Cilantro leaves, stems discarded before measuring
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed Lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp freshly Ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 tsp ground chipotle pepper (may be replaced with cayenne pepper)

Method:

To make this exotic shrimp, you first need to shell and clean the shrimp and dry them using a paper towel. Now, take a small bowl and mix oregano, lemon pepper, thyme, chipotle pepper, salt and black pepper in it. Then, toss the shrimp in this mixture and keep in refrigerator for almost an hour.

Next step would be to blend together cilantro and lime juice in a food processor. Then, pour this juice in a small bowl and add in it sour cream. Now, take an iron skillet and heat over high heat and place the shrimp in it and cook for 1 minute on each side. Add a few drops of olive oil to make your pan non-sticky.

Serve these shrimps with the prepared cilantro dipping sauce.
