I recently experimented a new prawn recipe and want you to try it out too. Try making Peppery Garlic Prawns using the following ingredients and method.
Ingredients:
1 lb Raw medium sized Shrimp
4 Cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Brandy
1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Crushed Black Peppercorns
½ tsp Salt
Method:
First step to prepare Peppery Garlic Prawns is to crush the peppercorms using a mortar and pestle. Then, mix the crushed garlic with salt, lemon juice, brandy and crushed peppercorns. After this add in it shrimp and marinate it for at least an hour or overnight in the fridge.
Next step is to heat a heavy skillet over medium heat and add in it olive oil. Then, mix in this mixture shrimp and garlic mixture. Cook it quickly while tossing the shrimp in between. Remember the longer the shrimp is left to marinate, the less time it will take to cook. Cook the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes till the shrimp turns opaque in color.
Now, your Peppery Garlic Prawns are ready to be served with chopped parsley garnishing.
