Butter Prawn Recipe

Ingredients

  • Prawns (1 lb)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 6 chopped bird’s eye chilies
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1 tspn sugar
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1/2 tspn soy sauce
  • 1 tbsn Chinese cooking wine
  • 6 tablespoons grated coconut
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Oil for frying
  • Method

    Remove the eyes of prawns and slit the remaining prawns and remove their veins. Dry the slit prawns.

    Take a large pan and heat oil in it and then deep-fry prawns. Then drain and keep separately.

    Take a pan and melt butter in it. Then add chilies, curry leaves, salt and garlic. Fry all these for about 2 minutes.

    Now, mix  soy sauce, sugar, prawns, grated coconut and wine. Mix well and cook for about 2 minutes on high heat while stirring continuously.

    Serve hot
