Sesame Tuna with Soy Miso Dressing

Ingredients:

Sesame seeds – ¾ cup

Ground white pepper – 1 teaspoon

Seasoning salt – ½ teaspoon

Wasabi powder – 1 tablespoon

Onion powder – 1 tablespoon

Coarse Kosher Salt – 1 Teaspoon

All purpose Flour – 1 cup

Eggs – 2

¾” thick Tuna Steaks – 2

Vegetable Oil – 2 Tablespoons

Soy Sauce – 1 Tablespoon

Miso Soup Mix – 1.1ounce

3 fluid ounces milk

Method

Mix sesame seeds, white pepper, seasoning salt, onion powder, kosher salt, wasabi powder and flour well in a bowl. Set the mixture aside.

Mix eggs and milk together in a separate bowl.

Dip tuna steaks first in egg mixture and then in flour mixture so that it is coated properly on both sides

Now press the steaks so that it is well coated by sesame seeds on both sides.

Heat the oil over medium high heat.

For 2 minutes on each side, fry the Tuna Steaks and remove from the heat immediately. Make sure that the inside of fish is red.

Mix soy sauce with soy miso dressing. Heat the mixture and drizzle over steaks.
