Seared Ahi Tuna

For those of you who like trying out new seafood recipes, here is a new tempting recipe for the dish called Seared Ahi Tuna. Prepared within a short span of time, this dish tastes so yummy.

Ingredients:

2 (6-8) ounce Ahi Tuna Steaks

1 clove Garlic, minced

1 Green Onion, thinly sliced

2 tbsp Dark Sesame Oil

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Grated Fresh Ginger

1 tsp Lime Juice

Method:

In order to prepare the lip smacking seafood dish, Seared Ahi Tuna, you first need to mix the marinade ingredients together and coat the tuna steaks with it and cover it tightly. Then, refrigerate it for at least an hour.

Next step would be to heat a non stick skillet over medium heat and sear the marinated tuna for a minute and half on each side. Now, remove the pan and slice the tuna into ΒΌ inch thick slices. After this, sprinkle the tuna with a few green onion slices.

Seared Ahi Tuna dish is now ready to be served hot with white rice or over lettuce leaves.
